I'm pretty sure I just saw a spirit come out of my toaster.
Okay, I have a pretty old fashioned toaster. It's got a little lever that you push down to get the bread product down and turn on the heater. So I do such (meanwhile thinking about my kitty Bashy, who passed away in January, and wondering what it was like to die and if it hurt him...God I'm so emo), and the white, wispy string of something comes out of the toaster, no fucking joke. You'd think it'd be steam, but the heaters hadn't turned on yet, and beside the toaster wasn't wet. Plus, it disappeared immediately after I saw it.
I already knew our dryer and toilet were possessed, but now the damn toaster, too?
Fittingly enough, today is St. Michael's Day in the Greek, Armenian, Russian, and Coptic churches, according to my copy of "Spirit Guides and Angel Guardians". In honor of this, I give you this blessing attributed to Michael:
"I am protecting you against lower energies, and guarding you, your loved ones, and home. Be clear about what you desire, and focus upon it with unwavering strength. Remember who you are. You are a powerful, loving, and creative child of God. You are very loved."
Archangel Michael represents love, fire, the south, autumn, and the color red. Those especially close to him are those born under the signs of Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius.
My archangel, Uriel, doesn't have his own saint's day. ;_;. He's usually celebrated on All Saint's Day...September 29th. Totally missed it. *Headdesk*

I've always been interested in angels (just haven't got around to really researching much), and Michael is my favorite male name. I do remember reading something about Michael and the animosity between him and Samael, who was cast out of heaven; that's rabbinic Jewish tradition, I think.
And Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus and the Archangel Michael are the same being. Religion is so interesting to me. I have like 4 books on different religions, but I haven't got around to reading them yet. :x
Oh, and I've just read your post on your beliefs that I missed when you first posted it, and it really is very interesting to me and I want to comment on it, but I'm just not in the right mindset right now (I'm at school and I'm still sick).
I consider myself a Christian, but I don't like going to the Baptist church my family attends because whenever I ask questions, I get roundabout answers, and we never discuss things that are interesting to me. I'll just study on my own, then. But here I am, probably going to attend a Baptist university where you are required to go to Bible study classes every week. Hopefully the leaders of those classes will be willing to discuss things deeper. I'll ask as many questions as I can.
the phantom of the opera is there...and the Angel of Repentance, and introduced the Kabbalah to the Jews.I was born on the cusp of Libra, though (my due date was 9/22, which is either Libra or Virgo depending on the year), so I have a bit of an influence from Raphael (healing, air, east, spring, and blue).

I might have to go and tidy that up a bit, but that's a good groundwork of my belief system. I'll give you the green light when I tighten up the specifics.

I hope they do, too. When I was looking at colleges (I decided to do two years at the community college because I could go for free), I avoided colleges with affiliated religions. The only exception was a Jesuit college, because they made a specific point that they were interfaith and the Jesuit aspect was part of the history/architecture.
