I already know who my soulmate is: my best friend, "Lynn". We have what I call "BFF Telepathy", and said BFFT manifested itself in a scary, scary way last night/this morning.

Now, my current area of study is Near-Death Experiences. I haven't really talked about this with Lynn. Now, very early this morning I had a dream where Lynn jumped through an ice-over river to retrieve something. I took her downtown and wrapped her up in blankets and then took her to see a play, but part of the way through she started shaking and shivering like she was having a seizure. She said there was water in her lungs and that she was drowning.

That dream didn't get a proper end. So the day goes on, and I check my e-mail. I'm reading an e-mail from her when she calls me (which was freaky enough), and she tells me that she had a dream where she actually died. Though this time, it was because of a car crash, and she wound up in a meadow with her great-grandfather and uncle, both of whom died before she was born in RL. They told her to give everyone their love, and for the uncle's mom not to blame herself for his death. They then took her to a river and told her to walk down one of two paths that led to a door: one to life, one to death. She intuitively picked the life path and woke up in the hospital.

I've noticed that when I begin looking for signs, they happen to people close to me (such as the dream my mother had about my grandmother, and now this). If that's on purpose, and really coming from some sort of spiritual realm, I'm guessing it's because I could explain my dreams away as just dreaming about my current situation (those "naked in front of a crowd" dreams). Whoever my spirit guide is knows me pretty well.

Still, I don't know what I'd do without her. I almost hope we go together; I really can't imagine life without her.
